Special Needs Boy

Do you have any hang-outs?  You know, places where you go and the folks there seem to know you... That’s how it was for the Castillo family (Kim, Milo and the rest of the family), who dine a lot at Laurenzo’s Prime Rib in Houston. They were there last Wednesday and everyone was stopping by to say “hello.” The chef, the waiter and waitresses, the manager, it’s a feel good time because little 5 year old Milo who has down syndrome.

Research shows the threshold for pain is higher in men; but women always say you haven’t gone through LABOR and if men had to have the babies, there would be NONE!

So how bad can it really be? Two Dutch television hosts Dennis Storm and Valerio Zeno thought, "Well, let’s try it."  So the duo was filmed for their show “Guinea Pigs” going through labor.

 

In the video clip from the show (link below), the two men used electro-stimulations to simulate the contractions.  The electrodes were attached to their abdomens and the experiment began...

The buzz: did Beyounce lip-sync the national anthem?

Reports are surfacing that the star wasn't singing live.

Beyoncé has been widely praised for her beautiful rendition of the national anthem at Monday's presidential inauguration.

But even after seeing her triumphantly pull her earpiece out as she belted out the words, buzz is now bubbling up that the superstar wasn't singing it live.

NEWTOWN CHILDREN RECORD SONG FOR SANDY HOOK: A group of 21 children from Newtown, Connecticut, most of them current or former students of Sandy Hook Elementary School, have recorded a song to benefit their town in the wake of the massacre last month at the school in which 26 people were killed, 20 of them first-graders.

SCHOOL SPENDING

We hear the comments every time a new coach is hired and fired at UT. Look how much money the athletic program spends on coaches.

Maybe we were on to something according to a new study that highlights spending gaps in the NCAA.

The study looked at public universities in six big-time conferences like the SEC and Big 12.

The report does not provide information about ratios at individual institutions.

Walmart is really stepping up!  They’re putting their “military where their mouth is!”

They have just announced one of the biggest job commitments ever made by a company.  Walmart plans to hire almost any military veteran who wants a job.  It all starts on Memorial Day and they expect to hire 100,000 veterans over the next 5 years.  The program is being offered to any vet who received an honorable discharge from the military within a year of apply for a job.
