SNORING DISPATCHER

 

Emergencies can be trying. You strive to stay calm and remember what to do and HOW to do it. So you can imagine how a Montgomery, Maryland woman felt when her husband began to have trouble breathing. She tried to relax him but then he started to turn blue. Fearing he was having a heart attack or chocking to death, she dialed 9-1-1

IT WAS A GOOD IDEA AT FIRST

It was meant to be a nice gesture, but unfortunately it backfired.

A married female, volunteer coach who escorted a 17-year-old Oregon high school athlete to his prom has been dismissed from her job.

Melissa Bowerman, 41, drew strange looks when she arrived at the Condon High School's prom with the boy last month.

Melissa is married and she and her husband were volunteer coaches for the Condon-Wheeler track-and-field team.

OFFICE POOL LOTTERY LAWSUIT

3 bakery workings in Chicago claim they're owed their fair share of $118 million in winnings from the Illinois State Lottery on May 4th.

They say they were part of a betting pool at the Pita Pan Old World Bakery in Chicago Heights.

The Blind Spot

 

When you buy a vehicle, what do you look for?  Great gas mileage? Style or make?  Color?  Affordability and Price? 

Here’s a feature you probably never thought about. It’s what you can’t SEE!  The blind spots! 

Every week, at least 50 children are killed or injured because they are backed over by drivers. Vehicle blind spots are to blame and in some newer model cars blind spots are getting worse.

If you’ve noticed an increase in cavities with your child and they drink lots of sports or energy drinks there may be a reason why.

According to new research, those sports drinks and energy could be responsible for tooth enamel damage that increases the risk of cavities and decay.

A study in the journal General Dentistry showed that tooth enamel is damaged after being exposed to sports drinks or energy drinks for just five days, with energy drinks causing two times as much enamel damage as the sports drinks.

It must be a slow day in news, but the Today Show scored an exclusive interview the the New Jersey 'tan mom' Patricia Krentcil is out to prove she's a good parent.

The mother of five spoke exclusively with TODAY about the allegations that she took her then-5-year-old daughter to a tanning booth in April.

In the interview she spoke about her very typical home life.

Patricia has been charged with second-degree child endangerment, which carries a prison sentence of up to ten years.
