FACEBOOK IPO

Facebook's stock is set to begin trading on the Nasdaq today (May 18th), one day after the social networking giant raised $16 billion in an initial public offering that valued the company at at whopping $104 billion, more than well-known companies like Kraft, Disney and McDonald's.

Facebook priced its IPO at $38 per share, at the top of expectations. Facebook's valuation is the third-highest in an IPO, topped only by two Chinese banks, one in 2010 and the other in 2006.

And in the afternoons, for a quick pick me up, the commercials tell us SNICKERS or something SWEET to kick in the HIGH gear and make it through a sleepy spot right after lunch.

Well, scientists decided they'd do a little research into some of those theories. So they called their little mice friends and split them into 2 groups.

Would you take advice from a rich person on how to get on top and stay there?
Probably.

Top-10 Donald Trump tips to get to the top --and stay there:
(excerpted from the book: "Trump: How to Get Rich")

10. Dress for your culture. The way we dress says a lot about us before we ever say a word. The "look" in Beverly Hills may be attractive, but that same look may be met with scorn on Wall St.

Did you believe it would work?

The government wants you to know that simply sporting a pair of Skechers' fitness shoes is not going to get you Kim Kardashian's curves or Brooke Burke's toned tush.

NO FREE SPEECH?

We hear about these stories all of the time. A person has a bad experience and they share it on a social media website like Facebook or Twitter or even write a blog.

But what happens when someone doesn’t like what you said and sues you.

That’s what’s going on in Oregon, where a pastor is reportedly suing Julie Smith and her daughter for $500,000 after the two blogged about the church and described it as "cult-like."

The Pastor of the church claims reviews on a blog started by former church member amounts to defamation.
