Flammable Sunscreen

Sunscreen Grilling

Brett Sigworth has learned a painful lesson about grilling...

He was on his back deck with friends warming up the grill for a great afternoon of food and fun.  But he was about to be surprised by something THAT shouldn't have burned... but did.

Brett stepped away for a few minutes to apply a spray on sunscreen. He rubbed it on his chest, arms and shoulders and then went back to check the grill.  He picked up one of the metal grates so he could move the briquettes around and within seconds he became a human torch!

A Way to Solve The $$$ Issue in Schools

SCHOOL BUDGET ISSUES

Last night the County Commissioners and School Board battled it out last night along with the community over the $35 million the school board wants to improve education.

The Mayor says no.

The Superintendent says yes.

The community is kind of split on whether taxes should be raised to cover the costs.

So, what is the answer to improving education without raising taxes?

Do you have the answer?

How would you feel about a new concept some schools are trying to get more money. Advertising in schools.

HOME RUN

When Dylan Coleman hit his first home run, it came off the bat with a very special sound. The spectators were stunned and the crowd roared to their feet.

The sad part of this story is his dad wasn't there.  Dylan had to settle for a call to his dad to let him know he'd put one over the fence.  Right then, his dad made a promise- that's the last home run he'd ever miss.
