ADFAC's annual signature event, Feed the Need, is now called DINE & DONATE!

Taking place every Monday between now and 9/8/14, Dine & Donate is a fresh way to help our neighbors in need.

Dine & Donate will work smiliarly to Feed the Need:

Visit participating restaurants and they will donate a percentage of sales to supports ADFAC's work in the community.

New in 2013 and as compared to limiting proceeds to one week in October, the 2nd Monday of each month will be Dine & Donate Monday!

2014 Dogwood Arts Bazillion Blooms

Bazillion Blooms is a community-wide dogwood tree-planting program to beautify our East Tennessee communities, improve the health of our environment and foster community support and pride in our beloved native dogwood.

Our goal is to restore dogwoods to their former vitality in Knox and surrounding counties. Over the years, dogwoods have died out due to disease, development and neglect. Our dogwoods are battling to survive.  In the last five years, more than 6,550 dogwood trees have been planted in East Tennessee through the Bazillion Blooms program!

It’s free and part of Mental Health Awareness week and hosted by The Behavioral Health Awareness Coalition. 

The event raises awareness of mental illness by reducing the stigma and celebrating diversity.

Come for the free food and enjoy music by the MoFreakins and a performance by Circle Modern Dance, face painting and pictures by Target.

Knoxville Heart Walk

Take part in the Knoxville Heart Walk to benefit the American Heart Association.

Sunday, 9/29 on the World’s Fair Park Festival Lawn.

Heart Walk activities begin at 2pm and the walk begins at 3pm.

The Walk Route will be 5K with a 1 mile Survivor Route.

The American Heart Association is the largest voluntary health organization working to prevent, treat and defeat heart disease, stroke
and other cardiovascular diseases.

These diseases, the Nation's No.1 and No.4 killers, claim more than 813,804 American lives a year.
