Inskip Birthday

It’s a big day today for one local school.

Inskip Elementary School will Celebrate its 100th Anniversary

Inskip Elementary School will hold a commemorative 100-Year Celebration on Friday, November 2, 2012. They welcome parents and community partners to join them in their following plans:

 

•    9 and 9:30 a.m. – Tree plantings led by Eddie Mannis, Inskip Elementary graduate and Chief Operating Officer for the City of Knoxville

•    1 p.m. – Program featuring Knox County Schools Superintendent Dr. Jim McIntyre, Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett, Board of Education member Indya Kincannon, Principal Elisa Luna, and Inskip students

•    3:30 to 7 p.m. – Open House for classroom tours; viewing of school memorabilia; visit with former and current students, teachers, and administrators; to see Inskip’s 100-year timeline
