Free-Bees Club Contest Rules
At B97.5 we like to give everyone a chance at winning. In order to reward as many listeners as possible, our standard contest rules are as follows:
1) To be entered in a contest, participants must follow specific contest instructions and adhere to general rules and regulations. Winners who do not adhere to the official Free-Bees contest rules and are found in violation of these rules will be subject to having their point total reduced to zero or forfeiting their “Free-Bees Club” membership.
2) No one may win more than one of each prize offered.
3) No more than 1 winner per household may win a specific contest
4) To be eligible to participate in this contest, qualifiers must be a legal residents of the United States of America and permanently reside in the following Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia or North Carolina counties: Anderson (TN), Bell (KY), Blount (TN), Campbell (TN), Claiborne (TN), Cocke (TN), Cumberland (TN), Fentress (TN), Graham (NC), Grainger (TN), Greene (TN), Hamblen (TN), Hancock (TN), Hawkins (TN), Jefferson (TN), Knox (TN), Lee (VA), Loudon (TN), McCreary (KY), McMinn (TN) Meigs (TN), Monroe (TN), Morgan (TN), Rhea (TN), Roane (TN), Scott (TN), Sevier (TN), Swain (NC), Union (TN) and/or Whitley (KY).
5) Winners of cash or merchandise prizes may not win another prize of cash or merchandise within 30 days. If prize exceeds the value of $1000, winner may not win anything from any Midwest Communications station for one year
6) Winners have 10 business days to pick up their prize, if prize is not picked up within 10 business days; the prize is returned to the Midwest Communications prize inventory and is forfeited by the winner.
7) For prizes that are mailed, allow a minimum of 10 business days before delivery. With the majority of our prizes being specific numbers, we will not be able to re-mail or replace prizes that do not reach the winner in the mail.
8) All other prizes must be picked up at the Midwest Communications studios during regular business hours, Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm.
9) Winners are solely responsible for payment of all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, if any.
10) Winners must be at least 18 years of age and must present a valid ID to receive a prize.
11) Only one entry per person, subject to specific contest/game rules.
12) To be awarded a prize, the name drawn or contestant chosen, or correct caller, must be the proper name of the contestant, according to specific contest rules, as determined by Midwest Communications.
13) Midwest Communications is not responsible for any mechanical telephone problems or failure, facsimile transmission problems or failure, email and/or website difficulties, omission or neglect on the part of the US Postal service.
14) Midwest Communications is not responsible for theft, destruction, or failure of delivery of, or unauthorized access or alterations to, contest entries, and the radio station reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest for any such occurrences.
15) All materials submitted during a contest become the property of Midwest Communications. Midwest Communications shall have the right to use any such material in connection with the given contest in any way seen fit by Midwest Communications. By entering a contest, the participant agrees that Midwest Communications may use his/her name, photo, or voice in advertisements and/or promotion without compensation and grants Midwest Communications all rights said to use.
16) All employees and families of Midwest Communications or its agencies and participating advertisers are ineligible. Employees of radio stations in the greater Knoxville MSA, as determined by the Arbitron Company, are also ineligible.
17) No purchase is necessary.
18) Contest is void where prohibited by law.
19) Prizes are not transferable and no substitution of prizes will be allowed.
20) Midwest Communications reserves the right to determine the eligibility of any contestant.
21) Any violation of the above-stated Midwest Communications contest rules will constitute disqualification and no prize will be rendered by Midwest Communications, or its agencies and advertisers.
22) Contest may be discontinued without prior notice.
