HEADS UP- Food Recall
Before you pack a snack bar in your kid’s lunchbox, check the label. It’s not a big deal for most parents, but if your child is allergic to milk it could be.
Quaker Oats is recalling 8-count Quaker Chewy Smashbar Graham Pretzel snack bars because of an undeclared milk allergen. Those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk products run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction. No other Quaker products are included in this recall.
The affected snack bars come with a UPC bar code ending in 31108 and a best before date of between October 29 and December 24 stamped on the side of the package. You can find out more on the U-S Food and Drug Administration
