How Safe Is Your Diet?

We all want to lose weight...whether it’s 10 lbs or 50....many of us are desperate to get the added fat off of us!  And when you see a celebrity or friend dropping the pounds .....you ask...how are you losing it?  Many of us get to willing to lose without considering the consequences to our bodies.  Weight lost doesn't always equal health gained. That new diet that took inches off your waistline could be harming your health if it locks out or severely restricts entire food groups, like carbs, or relies on supplements with little scientific backing, or clamps down on calories to an extreme.

So what should you watch out for?   What are considered Dangerous Diets?

22 experts in nutrition and diet assessed the 20 popular diets in seven different categories...safety, nutritional completeness,  vitamins and restrictive calories

The top 20 were given a score between 5 and 1 with 5 being the best.  So who scored low?

The Adkins Diet came in dead last.....way to much fat and way to few carbs! 

And you’ll be surprised at who’s at the top...No not Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig....Nutrisystem finished half way down the pack....
