SPRAY ON TAN

Okay, when I say THE TANNED MOM, I think we all know WHO I am talking about!  And just maybe HER look has convinced you that tanning beds are not good for us.  So onto the next alternative: THE SPRAY ON TAN!

After all, no burning the skin, no PRE-mature aging, no UVR rays, no melanoma or other skins conditions. BUT (and you may not like this) even the SPRAY ON TAN has its side effects!

AHHHHH

Just when you thought it was safe to spritzer your tan on, medical experts are cautioning us about the active chemicals used in the sprays.  It's DHA (dihydroxyacetone), has the potential to cause genetic alterations and DNA damage.

Six medical experts in  the fields of dermatology, toxicology and pulmonary medicine said they "have concerns" about DHA, because it can SEEP into healthy living cells and it can be inhaled into the lungs. Basically they say KEEP IT OUT OF YOUR BODY.

The research showed DHA had altered genes of multiple types of cells and organisms when tested in different labs by different scientists after the chemical was approved for use in the consumer market.

So they say IF you must spray on tan, protect your eyes, protect your breathing, and watch out for cuts or scrapes that may let this stuff in your body.

And they said salons WILL tell you it is safe...

BUT YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
