Student Attacks Teacher

POWELL HIGH SCHOOL

A Knox County teacher remains on the job after he was attacked by a student on Monday.

According to Knox County Schools spokesperson Jennifer Faddis, Powell High School teacher Ken Davis was assaulted by a 15-year-old boy at the school on

Monday while he was taking the student to the principal's office.

Two other students were present, but it is unclear if they were involved in the incident.

Davis was treated and released from the hospital that evening, and returned to work on Tuesday.

The student, a sophomore, was arrested.
