Methodist Casino Night

Sat, 04/06/2013 - 7:00pm - 11:00pm

Do you ever dream of jetting off to Paris just for an evening of dining on French food, browsing charming shops and being entertained by street performers and artists? Paris is closer than you think! Join the Methodist Medical Center Foundation for Casino Night 2013: “An Evening in Paris” on Saturday, April 6th.

Guests can experience “The City of Lights” where they will dine bistro-style in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower, browse in Les Puces – our auction-version of the famous French flea market, and of course, enjoy friendly casino-style games.

Casino Night guests will have the opportunity to bid on an array of treasures including a selection of trips, packages, products and art during Methodist’s live and silent auctions.

This year’s auction features a variety of vacation getaways. Whether you love the mountains or the beach, are seeking family fun or a little alone time, there is a trip that meets your needs. Guests can bid on a week-long stay at a condo in Sunset Beach, NC or a condo on the Eagle River in Edwards, Colorado. There are also Disney Park Hopper tickets and passes to Wilderness at the Smokies.

Casino Night: An Evening in Paris will take place on Saturday, April 6 at 6:30 p.m. in Columbus Hall of St. Mary’s School in Oak Ridge. Tickets are $75 each or $125 per couple and may be purchased online by clicking here or by calling
(865) 835-5261.

Proceeds from Casino Night 2013: An Evening in Paris will benefit the Hospitality Houses of Methodist Medical Center, which provide free, temporary lodging to cancer patients and their families who must travel for treatment at Methodist Medical Center, as well as others seeking long-term treatment as space allows. The houses have been serving the patients of Methodist Medical Center since 1997. Now, so that these houses may always be available to those who need them, the Foundation is establishing a $1.5 million endowment to support the Hospitality Houses in perpetuity.
