Crews find evidence someone may have fallen into rock quarry

According to Captain D.J. Corcoran with the Knoxville Fire Department, KFD,
the Knoxville Volunteer Rescue Squad, Rural/Metro, Knoxville Police
were called to a reported drowning at the quarry at Ft. Dickerson Park
in South Knoxville around 12:30 on Wednesday.

KUB contractor fined for electrocution death

27-year-old Michael Tallent of Powell was electrocuted on New Year's
Eve, at KUB's wastewater treatment plant on Neyland Drive.  He worked
for W and O Construction Company, Incorporated.

Jury deliberating in Y-12 protestors trial

Closing arguments are expected to begin after lunch on Wednesday, in the
federal trial of three protestors charged with breaking into and
vandalizing the Y-12 complex last year.

Emergency drill going on at Knoxville's main post office

Wednesday afternoon, starting at 3:05 pm, the U.S. Postal Service, along with Knoxville first responders, will hold an Emergency Evacuation and Response Exercise at the Knoxville Mail Processing & Distribution Center on Weisgarber Road.
