Knoxville Police say a New York man drove himself to the hospital with a gunshot wound early Thursday and reported someone had fired shots into the cab of his semi.
McCauley has led the 278th since May 2011. He was deputy commander when
the regiment was deployed to Iraq in 2010. He was also with the 278th on
its first Iraq deployment in 2004.
