A massive, mile-wide tornado with winds up to 200 mph spent 40 minutes
on the ground as it devastated homes, schools and businesses across
southern Oklahoma City and its suburbs Monday afternoon.
A spokesman for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service says the agency takes
seriously the concerns of environmentalists that two East Tennessee
mines are a threat to endangered fish.
The city says it does not call customers to collect utility payments,
and if there are issues with any payments, it will either come via an
automated message or through an online payment system.
