Kids at Sevier Heights Baptist Church hosted a packing celebration on
Wednesday. They helped pack a 40-foot container full of beds,
mattresses, and sheets for the orphanage One Vision.
The station is a $1.9 million investment that features two engines and a
couple volunteer firefighters who will be manning the station around
the clock.
Police arrested 33-year-old Aaron Thompson at an Athens home after he
pocket dialed 911. Dispatchers say they could hear Thompson yelling
