MOST of us would agree that cleaning isn’t super fun, but it has to be done. Love to clean or not, are you even doing it right? If ya really wanna make the most of your cleaning, here are some don’ts for cleaning:
Don’t overload your dishwasher…I’m totally guilty of this…when your dishwasher is overloaded or not loaded properly, the dishwasher doesn’t function like it’s supposed to function. Dishes can (and will) come out dirty and you have to do it all over again. Boo.
Don’t use your dish sponge to wipe down the kitchen– We all know that dish sponge is just covered in gross bacteria. NOT so fun fact: kitchen sponges can contain more bacteria than anywhere else in the house, icluding the toilet. GROSS.
Don’t save dusting til the end– Waiting until you’ve already cleaned and vacuumed a room to dust means you’re just spreading that dust around, which makes everything dirty again. Experts say it’s best to clean a room top to bottom, with vacuuming your floors as the last task.
Don’t go overboard with cleaning products– When it comes to cleaning sprays and liquids, using MORE than you need doesn’t get the job done faster. The excess can even form a residue that actually attracts and traps dirt and dust.
