The library is located at 508 N. Cusick St., Maryville.
The City of Knoxville will host its second annual New Year’s Eve at the Sunsphere, presented by Lowe’s, on Saturday, Dec. 31, at the World’s Fair Park Festival Lawn. Live music, food trucks, axe-throwing, a silent disco, lasers, a fireworks display and a midnight ball-drop from the Sunsphere.
This free, all-ages, rain-or-shine celebration begins at 8 p.m. K-Town Band performs at 9:30 p.m. No alcohol sales will take place on the park.
Free parking is available in all City-owned garages, including Locust Street and Market Square, as well as the 11th Street Garage.
Some nearby roads will be closed before and during the event:
- Clinch Avenue between Henley and 11th streets will be closed from noon, Dec. 31, 2022, to 1 a.m. Jan. 1, 2023.
- World’s Fair Park Drive between Clinch and Grand avenues will be closed from 6 p.m. Dec. 31, 2022, to 1 a.m. Jan. 1, 2023.

Make plans to join in the New Year’s Eve Celebration at The Island in Pigeon Forge. Guests are sure to enjoy the dazzling midnight fireworks production to ring in the New Year on December 31st. New Year’s Eve FREE Concert features headliner, BlackHawk. Opening for BlackHawk is Stephen Goff and the Royals Band.
The Island in Pigeon Forge will be open on Saturday, December 31st from 10 a.m. to midnight.
