The 40 th annual Smoky Mountain Scottish Festival & Games is Saturday and Sunday, May 21 and 22. The festival is being held at the Townsend Visitors Center (7906 E. Lamar Alexander Parkway).
Featured events: Sanctioned Bagpipe and Drums Competition, Athletics Competition, Herding Dog Demonstration, Kids Athletics, Kirking of the Tartans Church Service, Whisky Seminars, 2 Beer Tents, Clan Challenge, Bonniest Knees Competition and Mass Pipe and Drums.
First responders, seniors, veterans, active-duty military and students will receive a discounted rate with ID. Kids ages 15 and under are free. At gate ticket pricing at www.smokymountaingames.org
A QR code will be posted on the website before the games so attendees can scan and download a schedule of events on their smartphone.
