The American Job Center, partnered with the Tellico Village VFW Post 12135 and the American Legion Post 70 of Lenoir City, is hosting a Veterans Resource and Job Fair on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
The event will be held at the War Memorial Building located at 103 B Street, Lenoir City, TN 37771.
The Veteran’s Resource and Job Fair is designed to assist Veterans in connecting with community resources and area wide job openings.
Twenty-nine community service providers from the East Tennessee area will be in attendance including the American Job Center, Tennessee Valley Coalition for the Homeless, American Red Cross, Volunteers of America, Vet Center, State Veterans Resource Coordinator, Loudon County VSO, Veterans Affairs VR&E, Disabled American Veterans, Veterans Pre-College Program, and others.
Forty-three businesses will be participating in the Job Fair including Amazon, ShoffnerKalthoff MES Inc., Travelers Insurance, UT Medical Center, DENSO, Del Conca USA, CEMEX, Komyo
American Co., DHL, HAJOCA Corp, Patriot Homecare, Knox County Government, Knox County Sherriff and many others.
Participating businesses represent over 250 current job openings in multiple business sectors.
The Resource and Job Fair is free and open to the public. Job seekers are encouraged to bring a current resume for the Job Fair event.
