September 1 and 2, 2023 Ancient Sounds - a two-day music event that celebrates the rich musical traditions of the Celtic and Appalachian musical roots of our region. Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Historic Ramsey House in Knoxville, Tennessee, this unique festival offers an opportunity for visitors to be immersed in captivating melodies and foot-stomping rhythms as talented musicians and performers transport you to a bygone era. Experience the soulful tunes of Celtic music, resonating with ancient melodies and haunting ballads and then delight in the vibrant sounds of Appalachian music, deeply rooted in our East Tennessee history.
