Darius was born and raised in Nashville, TN. He got his start at the young age of 16 as a DJ at his local skating rink. He moved to Knoxville in 2016 to attend The University of Tennessee, from which he graduated in 2020.  He made his debut on the airwaves shortly after he arrived in Knoxville as a student volunteer for one of the university’s radio stations. He built a solid following through his work on college radio, DJing, and hosting events around the country and as a podcaster. During his free time, Darius loves to cook, listen to music, and hang out with his daughter, Rosalee.

Fun fact: When he was 11 years old, Darius was in a music video with Nas and The Beastie Boys!
