The Ingles Orange and White Tailgates is where you can meet and EAT with Smokin’ Joe Lasher. He is the founder of No Hungry People, a non-profit that seeks to support local food relief efforts by facilitating the donation of harvested meat to those who need it. While not a formally trained chef, Lasher describes himself as “just a guy who loves smoked meat recipes, grilled meat recipes, and the joy of preparing them for others.” Joe is a food blogger and proud contributor to the “Ingles Table,” a show presented by Ingles Markets that is dedicated to fantastic recipes made from fresh and local ingredients available in their stores.
