Dating apps have been around for a long time now, but that world can still be confusing to navigate. So. Many. Rules. Need some help? Experts are weighing in on what NOT to do, especially if you’re using dating apps to find a serious relationship.
Don’t lie- Don’t lie about anything, age, height, etc. Don’t pretend to be someone you’re not. You’ll end up with someone who isn’t really compatible and not a great fit for you.
Don’t link to Instagram- If your Insta is in your bio, potential partners can find out too much about you and too soon. It takes away from any future conversations you might have about what you like to do and where you like to go.
Don’t be boring- Think of different ways to start convos, other than “hey” & try not to answer questions with one word answers. Also, make sure you fill out your bio and put your personality into it.
Don’t post group shots- You don’t want someone to have to guess which one you are in the pic. They might give up and move on to the next person.
Good luck and Happy dating!
