National Cheeseburger Day is September 18th, which means we have a perfectly legitimate excuse to eat a cheeseburger. And if somebody else is willing to knock a few bucks off the price? Even better.
Several major chains are celebrating with free burgers, BOGO deals and discounts. So, whether you’re a classic cheeseburger person, a double-patty person or someone who believes bacon belongs on basically everything… there’s a deal for you.
Burger King
Members of the Royal Perks program can get a free bacon cheeseburger with a minimum $3 purchase.
McDonald’s
MyMcDonald’s Rewards members can get a free Double Cheeseburger today with a minimum $1 purchase. The offer is available through the McDonald’s app.
Wendy’s
Wendy’s Rewards members can add a Dave’s Single Cheeseburger for $1.99 with any purchase. Check the Wendy’s app or website for the offer.
Hardee’s
My Rewards members can buy one Famous Star cheeseburger and get one free. The offer can be unlocked in the Hardee’s app.
Five Guys
Five Guys is getting in on the BOGO action with a buy-one-get-one-free burger deal. Add two burgers of equal or lesser value to your online pickup or first-party delivery order and use code BOGOBURGER at checkout.
Just a heads-up: the offer isn’t valid for in-store purchases, and there’s a limit of one redemption per online account.
Applebee’s
You can get a Classic Burger or Classic Cheeseburger with fries for $8.99, available for dine-in or to go.
And throughout September, Applebee’s also has the O-M-Cheese Burger and O-M-Cheese-adilla Burger on its 2 for $25 menu for dine-in.
Buffalo Wild Wings
Buy one regular-priced cheeseburger and get another of equal or lesser value FREE today. There is a limit of one, and the deal doesn’t apply to lunch combos or kids’ menu burgers.
